St Martin Nouveau

November 2023

November is an important wine month. Even though he harvest is well behind us, this month brings us the first wines of the season. Whether your team is called “St Martin” or “Beaujolais Nouveau”, these are the first entrants to the new wine season. But as fun as they are, I find few people who call these young, fruity and energetic wines their favorite – so we gave them a… more

October Feast

October 2023

October is a tough month. Cold is coming, dark is coming, and the reality of summer holiday is a lifetime away. We need to find comfort where we can, and for many of us that is a great meal with friends and family, and a glass of wine to unwind. Whether it be a family feast, or a quick lunch, we are here to help with that bit! For our… more

Back to Work Edition

September 2023

Time to go back to work. As much fun and relaxation as we had, the reality is summer is over and the winter coats in the shops don’t look so ridiculous anymore.  To help with the depression, we are here with a variety of French wines that will sooth you over the back to “X” hump 😊 Our whites are a combo of varietal Sauvignons and cuvees on a sauvignon… more

August is IT

August 2023

Summer came, and summer is gone. Hope you all got the chance to get a break. The IWCoK team was of course BUSY searching out new wines and locations that we can bring to your table, and a hint of what you can expect for the fall is already included here. Our whites are a mix of your summer outdoor eating expectations (vinho verde, pinot grigio) and some lesser known… more

A Tuscan Holiday Feeling

July 2023

A summer holiday in Italy is a staple for many of us. And on the list of destinations, we visit is certainly a pass through the rolling hills of Tuscany and its’ capital Florence. Get ready for a virtual visit this month of the finest grapes of the region. What makes this region special ? It is something that has driven wine making here dating back to the 8th century… more

No Rush

June 2023

The best thing about going into the summer holiday time is that feeling of not having to rush. The temperature goes up and our minds wonder off to planning that trip to the sea. And what better to make that plan than over a glass of wine at the end of the day.  To facilitate this “one” glass (every day of the week), we added a few bottles this month… more

So natural…

May 2023

Before anyone gets upset that our May box is a “Millennial” thing, relax. But going natural may well have found a (tasty) elixir of life. Natural wines are far from a few trendy producers. Everyone is getting in on the game. New entrants and long-established quality producers that never thought it necessary to say how they went about their business. Saying that you are Natural, Bio and even a Vegan… more

Happy Easter

April 2023

For Easter this year, we took on two themes. First was France from where we fill our box, and the second was Fresh, like the clear skies of spring. Plenty inside for a feast this Easter. We split our whites from the South and west of Bordeaux, then finished up with two phenomenal Sauvignons from the Loire. Crisp and full of that mineral “slate” taste that makes them so distinct.… more

Love, Wine, Rock and Roll

March 2023

We get to “Get you Motor Running” this March. We are all about Rock and Roll this month all wrapped up in a blanket of love. When you run into to the winery WNR (Wine and Roses), it is something you can’t ignore. And once they have your attention, the list of hardware (awards) they have is the deal maker. Read their stories on the Aperittivo where you learn how… more

Golden Tuesday

February 2023

February is a Golden Tuesday (at least the Golden bit is accurate..) Our February box is full of Prague Gold medal winners. Lots to look forward to. Our white’s this golden 2nd month of the year concentrate on Veltin. Two Austrian entries (we all agree, they do the best Veltlins of anyone) bring two different styles, one fruitier, and the second more full of mineral flavour. This months “out pf… more
