Our wines this month bring a heavy Bordeaux presence, but we dropped in a couple of extras from Alsace and Burgundy.

Mike's Tip
A perfect mix of elegance and drama. This bottle is screaming sophistication. This bend of Sémillon, Sauvignon Gris, and Sauvignon Blanc has a nose and robe of white peaches. Subtle and very classy.

Mike's Tip
The nose offers notes of toast and white fruit. On the palate, it is rich and ripe, with good body and structure. This will also be a great wine for Asian food or spicey dishes - be bold and experiment.

Mike's Tip
This classic Bordeaux blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc hails from the Graves region. Fruity and rich, with lots of red fruit. Will do well with anything you are grilling this summer.

Mike's Tip
Not the grapes, but the passion that made it. This "formula for love" of Malbec is rich, earthy and full of dark leathery and chocolate tones. Pair this one with something heavy.

Mike's Tip
Playfull, funny and great value - I loved this wine. The name is a bit hard to translate, but think of it as a snack or a treat, and this blend of Syrah and Grenache is exactly that. Not too heavy, great balance. Perfect.
