Wines from Wall Street

Not that we are sourcing our wine from New York, an American election theme, or anything about your “investment” in your wine club, but rather that all the wines this month are regularly offered in our top business newspaper, HN. Bur don’t worry, you needn’t be a business expert to enjoy a box of quality, easy drinking wines from our long time partner OK Vino.

Our whites start with two wines from the Czech winery of the year Thaya, With the lovely artwork on the label, the sauvignon and classic Riesling are both crisp and full character. To this we bring a more tropical chardonnay and exotic white Tuscan Vernaccia di San Gimignano full of white peach and almonds.

Our reds offer a perfect mix of acidity, tannin and full bodied fruits. The two Sangiovesse based wines will be perfect for the warmer evenings of late summer. Medium bodied and perfect for pork or chicken on your BBQ. At the other end of the spectrum we have a classic Primitivo and Montepulciano. Both fuller in the mouth and great for a relaxing afternoon or evening.

So either way, if you are a stock picker, or a wine lover, this “street” has you ready for fall.
