October Feast
October is a tough month. Cold is coming, dark is coming, and the reality of summer holiday is a lifetime away. We need to find comfort where we can, and for many of us that is a great meal with friends and family, and a glass of wine to unwind. Whether it be a family feast, or a quick lunch, we are here to help with that bit!
For our whites this month, apart from a light and fresh Verdejo, and gooseberry filled Veltliner, we have a (surprise) Pinot Grigio that you were not expecting. This is indeed a very light rose made in a traditional method of a millennia ago. Because the juice was left in contact with the skins longer, it gains a link pink tone a world of flavour. Something new to try.
Reds are a true old Europe battle of the French, Spanish and Italians. From the west we bring a classic Crianza. From the east a Sangiovese, the North a Syrah and from the south a local variety called Bovale from Sardinia. For you to decide who wins a place at the dinner table. Ranging from medium to (very) full bodied, they will give you plenty of choice to pair with whatever you’re having.
SO don’t fret about the looming winter. There is still plenty to celebrate!

Mike's Tip
When is Pinot Grigio not white ? When it is PINK of course ;-). Thought to be a more organic style of the wine taking it's light pink color from contact with the grapes skin. The flavor is about apple and citrus (not strawberry like you expect). Drink well chilled and this uncommon presentation will convince you ! (Very old school and very OG!)

Light, airy, citrus flavor that will be perfect for that "Just one glass" lunch or dinner. That said, it will stay fresh in the fridge longer than your patience will allow ;-)
