A Czech – French Friendship

The long awaited September box that is not called “Back to School” is here! Welcome our combination of Czech and French wines in what will be on your friends list for some time to come.
Our whites this month has something to satisfy every pallet. If you are seeking something crisp, light, oily, or full bodied, there is something there for you. Put it differently, have you pick of Sauvignon, Sémillonm, Viognier or Petit-Manseng. Each variety bringing a different adventure.
Our reds will be more familiar ground and focus more on classic Bordeaux varieties Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon mixed in with a some other more easternly mixes of Syrah and Grenache. Some full bodied wines that will be crying out for you to do a weekend BBQ one more time before putting the grill into hibernation.
The beauty of this friendship is tha you have two answers if somebody offers you a class of wine – Ano or Oui !

Mike's Tip
There is some excitement in this bottle. A blend of grenache, Viognier, and Roussanne deliver a wine full of flavor and character. Best paired white fish and sea foods, this is a suitable wine for dinner with the best of your friends.

Mike's Tip
Jirka was awarded Vinar Roku in 2024 for a reason. Fruity and a bit more sugar than we are accustomed with the Pinot Grigio's of southern Italy, but full of character and a great pair for the Pho you just took home. Try it out.

Mike's Tip
Ohhhh, black currant and spice. A lovely combo of Syrah and Grenache. Expect subtle hints of cholate and vanilla, and a mouth full of flavor that will go best with red meat or a burger. Strong stuff, pair well !

Mike's Tip
