Back to School Drinks

It is true that EVERY September is a back to school box at IWCoK.  The same cliches about end of summer and getting back to the grind of post holiday life. So, we did something crazy. A still Prosecco , non traditional bottles, a Pinot grigio that is not white, and some reds so fruity, that you may just leave them for desert.

Our whites this month are absolutely nuts. To start with, we have two bottles that look more like Norwegian glacier water than traditional Italian white wines. To make it even more interesting, we introduce you to a Prosecco done in the “Tranquillo” style, or otherwise said – Still. And lets not forget a sophisticated South African blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay – not your typical match.

Our reds are more a more traditional lot. That said we have a Sangiovesse from the “wrong” coast (Marche, not Tuscany), and a pair of Spanish Grenacha’s that are nearly bleeding red fruits.  This is extreme freshness at its best.

So indeed it is the same old September, but you haven’t had one like this before.
