Trophy Time
November 2025
The harvest is over, St Martin has come and gone and winter has arrived. November and the holidays is here and 2025 gone – Wow, don’t know where the fall went, but sounds like time to start celebrating! So lets roll through a few Prague Wine trophy winners that have already impressed the experts.
Our whites this month may be setting an all time IWCoK record of the most varieties ever in one box; Pecorino, Cortese, Sauvignon, Grenache blanc, Clairette, Bourboulenc, Roussane, Marsanne and more. The Italians made things very simple this time, but the French blends are a true potpourri . Don’t be worried, the complexity also adds elegance.
The reds start off with two reds of Montepulciano with its deep red color and fruity potential. Add a Syrah, a Spanish Crianza and a simple but exceptionally easy to drink Sangiovesse and you have something for a light lunch and a coxy dinner in front of the fire place.
With only a few weeks to go before the Christmas madness is upon us, take some time for yourself and those closest around you and enjoy a glass or two before everyone raids your fridge.
