French style
This month we will be enjoying the sun, the scents and all the flavors of France. Be it the distinction of Reisling from the North, or the fruity elegance of Provence, we have it all.
Our whites this month come with a couple serious Sauvignons that bring minerals and acidity to your attention. Light and clean, these are ideal wines to keep you on your feet. And when you want something heavier in the evening, a heavy Alsacian Riesling will be the answer. Lastly, we have discovered a fantastic natural producer from Aix en Provence – this may be putting some holiday plans into your calendar for the summer.
The reds focus this time on Syrah. Known to be juicy and full of (red) fruits and berries, these wines are elegant but not pretentious – perfect for what ever you got on the grill any day of the week.
Don’t fret – it need not be a plate of snails or frog legs to enjoy these wines. A cutlet, burger or salat will do just fine.

Mike's Tip
Viognier is a variety of medium body and a long (oily) finish, meaning that the flavour of the wine stays in your mouth long after swallowing. Look for flavors of white peach and apricot.

Mike's Tip
The bottles long, slender shape gives this wines origin away. We are in Alsace. Riesling is one of the primary wines of the region, grown on the steep hills. Expect a rich and mineral filled flavor.

This winemaker just keeps getting it right. Descibed as a robe of "limoncello", citrus flavored wine that is an ideal partner for Asian food, full of soja and oyster sauce.
