A French Way
February 2026
This month we stumbled across a winemaker that really made an impression.
The Château Saint Cyrgues located at the crossroads of the Languedoc and the Rhône Valley, in an area called the Costières de Nîmes has a very convincing story. Fresh modern wines at a fair price and all following natural methods of production.
The whites are light and flowery with a noticeable absence of sulphites, the reds are juicy and balanced. All in an ideal winery that covers all the needs for the party.
Enjoy these French delights with us.

The winemakers were looking for a modern taste here, so look for a bit of creamyness on the palate coming from over 4 months of aging in the barrel. Otherwise you wil find a familiar blend of citrus fruits and white flowers

This is a blend of Roussanne, Grenache blanc, and Viognier. What it delivers is a pale golden colour and a nose and palate of peach and pear and freshness.

Loved it (and the resenation didn’t hurt at all - very elegant). From a hillside of clay and limestone, this wine brings intense freshness over a citrus base.

A classic Bordeaux blend of 75% Merlot and 25% Cabernet. Fruits and tannin and a light touch of acidity makes this a perfect wine for a pork chop with a bit of fat, or some salami and cheese.

It has been a while since we had anything from South America in our box and the same for a Malbec. Fair to say this isn't a wine that will change the world, but it is a full and jammy red that will please many with is fruity and full bodied character
