If a Primitivo is too much for your taste, think of this wine as the "little brother" . Intense red color and lost of ripe fruit, the taste is significant, but not overpowering.

Mike's Tip

When is Pinot Grigio not white ? When it is PINK of course ;-). Thought to be a more organic style of the wine taking it's light pink color from contact with the grapes skin. The flavor is about apple and citrus (not strawberry like you expect). Drink well chilled and this uncommon presentation will convince you ! (Very old school and very OG!)

Classic Tempranillo to go with most things. Open at least one hour before drinking or decant to mellow the alcohol that wants to jump out after opening. Some pepper and leather and a mix of red fruits. Lunchtime BBQ is the perfect match here.

What makes this southern Italian Nero d'Avola unique is the slow and delicate pressing method used. Slow pressing avoids bitter tannins and makes this wine more balanced and very full bodied.
