What are we celebrating this month? Well, we have a couple of simple Slovenian wines that will be great for a glass or two mid- week, and move up through some serious French regions ending in Bordeaux and Chablis. Names that everyone on this wine planet of ours is well familiar with.
Enjoy the trip this month across Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Merlot and the “Blends”. Something to enjoy whenever you are ;-)
Chateau les Bugadelles

Mike's Tip
White flowers, lychee and lots of fresh acidity. The wine maker takes a very old school and organic approach to all their wines, leaving it to the sheep to keep the weeks down and letting them fertilize the land. Farm fresh!

Mike's Tip
Simple and Fresh is all you need sometimes. This Slovenian pinot is the perfect solution to the "just want one glass on Tuesday night", then Wednesday and so on. Need not be complicated to enjoy a glass with dinner.

Mike's Tip
Also known as sauvignon vert and most commonly Friulano, this is a common variety of the Friuli region of northern Italy. Sharper than other sauvignon varieties, this is a wine best drank with food, particularly white fish or pork.

Another easy wine for when you just want a glass with dinner, or help your cooking :-) This Slovenian red blend will not rock your world, but finding a red of this quality at 5 Euro is one ticket to survive inflation.

Look no further than a red that oozes the south of France. Think plum, blueberry, and spice. A bit meaty so pair it with strong cheese or heavy meat dishes.

Dry and full, full of that jammy, earthy fruit flavor that you expect from a big Portuguese red. Don't let the mild tannins fool you, the alcohol content at 14% packs a punch, that you won't see coming till the end.
